My Congratulations gift from God to me for my acceptance at the Law School I've always wanted to go to. To complete my Master's certificate to Legal studies to continue on to Law School.

Singles, please remember to celebrate your accomplishments no matter how big or small, you deserve it. We do twice the work as a person who is married and must remember our worth. If you are blessed like me to have children and grandchildren, pat yourself on the back and thank God for anointing you with the gift to bare your cross on this beautiful walk of Faith through life. I encourage you to keep pressing on I promise the process is worth it.  If you lost friends, they were never meant to be apart of God's plans for your life. Be still, worship at a place that treasures the gifts you have and grow your Faith with true believers of God that acknowledges your singleness as a gift and love where you are at this very moment. Celebrate your Singleness by joining me with knowing you are God's treasures.

As my sweet friends from Proverbs 31 Ministry said to me. Sweet Friend, thank you for your prayers and support for Lysa Terkuerst, I shared with her one of my published poem's as a word of encouragement in the ministries time of need. She said it brought her to tears. Singles, I shared this to say, you are not alone. God is working out his best in you. Don't allow anyone's view of society lies about Singles cloud your vision. We can do more for God being single than someone who is married. Until Love Finds You and Uninvited, are the books my online book club with Proverbs 31'ministries read for a powerful 6 weeks.

The revelation of God's word within those 6 weeks were epic! I cannot say this enough. There are times where you are going to be afraid, but "What Would You Do? If You Weren't Afraid?" (Shery Sanberg) taken from yet another powerful Woman of God from the book "LeanIn" a must read for those that are faced with fears in your darkest moments. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and God's promises are to be with us until the end.

What is family?

The reality of a dysfunctional family, pretending everything is okay.

It's unfortunate, that in families women or young women don't have the positive male figures to set examples as Uncles, brothers, and father's. Without the fear of being raped, sexually assaulted or abused.

The number of unreported cases of abuse, or sex crimes against women still to this day, are alarming. And still ignored by the mainstream. We as mother's and sisters, and daughters have to educate ourselves on the risk of trusting a broken vessel could cause us to loose ourselves that take advantage of our weaknesses.

Singles, one of the most painful things to accept is that staying in an abusive relationship is healthy, and you pretend it is real love because you never had a healthy positive Male role model in your life to show you how you're supposed to be treated.

As we end for the month of October, it is truly important to reflect on who we are outside of our married brothers and sisters.  That we are relevant in the house of God even if we do not have a support system within the place of worship where we dwell. Since I've been here in Hawaii, it has been a true test of Faith to be aligned with the promises God has put on my heart. It has truly been a test of faith to keep the passion when life happens. This season of my life has been truly a challenge and I have found myself seeking God's direction more than ever before. One of the things that have kept me focused. Is his word, and despite the distractions around me, yet I have been steadfast in my faith to continue to trust that God has a plan for my life and the ministry that he has given me shall come to pass.

Single's it is truly a test of Faith when Life happens and you are still trusting God for his promises. It's in these trials and test that we are made free. God is seeing how we will handle the situation so he can fulfill the promises he has placed in our hearts.

Single's remember to Live your life loved, stay blessed and keep the Faith.

Singles as I listened to Pastor Creflo Dollar the other day on TBN about Spiritual Blindness. Pt. 1., Blind to the Gospel of Grace.

I was reminded what he said about the church today. As believers, we cannot turn a blind eye to the needs of its members and pretend that people are not going through challenges. Yes! I am a firm believer and doer of making our faith work, "Taking Rightful Possession of What Belong's To You" And that Grace is sufficient in all of our lives as Born again believers, but if you have just lost your home, the car has just been repossessed and you lost your job. Then, in reality, it's not because you didn't budget your finances correctly or didn't pray enough or bear fruit in the house of God. Or that you lack the spiritual maturity to speak to that thing until it bears fruit. Jesus did that with the fig tree and cast it out because it didn't bear fruit. Or on performance-based religion, you didn't bear fruit. That analogy is not to say that as a child of God you are not effectively praying and following the principles of the God to change your Aons. Which means that you have to be obedient in order for God to do his part. (Not saying you are being obedient in God's words, it's about being obedient to the faith because Jesus has already done it and he will enable you to do it.) Don't allow yourself to be stuck under the law or allow a preacher to tell you that because you didn't do this and that why it's not working for you and you failed. But that the enemy attacks all of us, even Pastors, leaders, workers etc. Creflo reflects on Jesus is anointed to open Blind eyes and in the below reference scriptures. He reflects on the opening of the eyes (prisons) to them that are bound, not your physical eye, but your understanding of opening your understanding of them that bound and that are captives; Jesus has anointed us with the good news of Grace Acts 20:24;

Singles it's important to have Faith in the Faith of God that his will for your life will come to pass. When you are spiritually Blind you will respond in fear.

It is truly my prayer that the words that are spoken through this blog are a pillar of truth for those who read it. God has truly blessed me with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of his word to impact the lives of those I come in contact with.

The Lord has blessed me with an amazing opportunity to impact the lives of those I work with as well around the world. A prophet spoke life into me when I called to handle a personal matter. That I will Flourish in the year of 2017, and that the two people that were supposed to help and didn't will be seated at the table in the presence of my enemies. In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! I claim authority over my life and the lives of my children Delialah, Dorales, and Monique. The lives of my grandchildren, Isaiah, Elijah, Marcus, Craig Jr. and Lee Lee; Christopher Jr., Franklin, and Levi. Their lives will be a living testimony to the power of God in their lives. They will know his voice, and no evil shall befall them. No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper, they will live the abundant life of Christ. I will not be ashamed of the Gospel, or those who oppose it.

The tragedy that has been going on in the world has been an eye-opener, to say the least to this world of why they need Christ.

Checkmate! Singles, don't mistake being alone with loneliness. When you have a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ, and healthy spiritual people that are willing to prevail in prayer with and for you. There is nothing on this earth that can stop you.

Yes! we need human companionship, but don't let it be at the cost of allowing someone back in your life that is abusing you physically, mentally, and taking from you.

I Love My Black Enough to Not Need Permission

To Colored Women, Love yourselves, don't settle for less just because you don't want to be alone. Singleness is a blessing for an opportunity to be made whole through Christ.

We as Women of color face a deeper disparity of being singled out if our skin is not light enough, or hair straight enough. As a Woman of Color you hold the key to the power that is birth in every fiber of our being...

Don't release it to anyone....  

The Cost of The Clean Up

Singled, What the enemy meant for your bad God meant for good. I know how much blood God sacrificed for me and blocked things from the decisions and choices I made that would've took me out....See the devil wants you to be silent and not give the praise, don't let sin keep you from God or kill your dreams, or your joy and not trust people. How do you deal with the clean up? Acknowledge it...don't walk around like you are better, you don't get to judge me because your sin is different, don't judge a person because they don't dress right, or look like they slept outside, maybe they did and you shouldn't be worried about what I'm at the alter for, some of us Christians walk around like we are better than other Christians and we are not, we are supposed to love one another as Christ loved us.....

You ever see people that live any kind of way not serving God and look older than they are? But when they see you they ask wow your skin looks so smooth....healthy? The answer is in who I serve!

Chose Wisely...

How dare you make light of someone's commitment to God, just because you are there...it seems like some people have added Jesus to their lives..instead of  submitting to Jesus in your life. Truthfully.....

Singles, Being with God does not come with conditions, judgement, or how many events or activities you attend, your relationship with God is personal, not conditional.  Although he said do not forsake the fellowship/Assembly of the brethren, it does not mean that God loves them more and you less,first ministry for us singles are often ignored by congregation that are not trained in meeting the needs of them. All of the Prophet's of the Bible sought God Alone, and were witnessed to by Christ without the distraction from others. In your solitude;

Love God with all your heart no matter how much they talk about you, oust you and try to ignore the gifts God has given you. This just shows their lack of maturity in the things of God, and do not know Love.

Singles, as we add another chapter of our Lives, The Blessed Life, we are reminded and assured that we matter whether they accept us ot not...forever in his arms.....

Dear Life, Thank you

Problems and predicaments come to us all. There's no sign saying, "you must be this tall..." to ride on the emotional roller coasters that take so many of us for a spin. The bad news is that there are times when we're passengers...whether we like it or not. The good news is that we can always choose to get off at the next stop...(Douglas Pagels)

Single's,  as we look back on the things life has taught us, and continue to press on through this gift called life, remember that you have total control over how anyone treats you. Demand in a gentle way to, not entertain foolishness from those who are old enough to know better, but still continue to live in chaos. Separate yourself away from (Vampires) who suck the life out of you, and anyone who is not bringing joy in your life. Let them go, and be content and happy knowing that you are where you supposed to be at this set time. And it's for such a time as this that you were born (Pastor Chris)..

Say to yourself, I know who I am, I have the life of God in me, I function with the Spirit of Excellence.  You are enough and there is nothing on this earth that is more important than your peace of mind and happiness.

You Don't Deserve A Name

Fear you have always consumed me whenever I got fired from a job or raising my children as a single parent, or the past failed relationships. I thought it was me, or something lacking in me, but I realized that it was the enemy planting lies in my mind about who he was trying to destroy.

The biggest challenge I've had was my relationship with my Mother and the love I felt I was missing from her, that I so desperately needed as a young woman growing up. When I speak to my sisters, we all bear pain/scars from our past of not having the loving kind of relationship with her or the reaffirmation of her feminity and love for her daughters. But I realized as I've grown as a parent. That she herself has been through a painful past that she still bears scars from. There were times in my past and not to distant future, that I did not fill adequate enough to be in a healthy relationship because of the abuse I suffered as a child. My sister and I experienced this traumatic experience when we were young and I think that we are in some way as we became parents, handling it the best way we can.

Fear, all the lies that you have told me because of my past. I have turned them into my fuel to fail forward. The jobs I've gotten fired from in the past, that was their loss for not recognizing an extraordinary individual. I function with the mind of Christ and refuse to be a victim, those that bless you will be blessed and those that curse me will be cursed Genesis 12:3; Wow! What an amazing Intro, or shall I say the truth about the past of a not so perfect childhood.

Those that hurt as my Pastor friend said, hurt people, hurt others. Singles, if you are experiencing hurt or things from your past that leads you to the same dysfunctional type of relationships. Today it ends here, stands in front of your mirror and say "Carol" I love you, you are a beautiful person, an excellent Mother; you will have a healthy family life, and success in your career, nothing shall prevent the Will of God for your life. Satan I cast you out of any situation that concerns me or my family.

The friendships that were not authentic, God will replace those imposters with authentic bonds. Live your life loved regardless of who's in it. As long as you have Jesus Christ of Nazareth nothing can stop you from becoming who he has called you to be, lack is not your portion, poverty is not your portion; Favor locates you everywhere you go!

I hit my version of rock bottom and let go of everybody in order to become who I'm supposed to be  Woman... I ate my slice of humble pie... To die to who I used to be....to become who I am truly today...I murdered my Shego....so I could be in a room with strangers at this conference in order to say. I have nothing to protect, nothing to hide so I could grow.

The more influence of the World you trust, the more it will let you down..when faced with challenges. A life without God is destined for, fear, doubt, and uncertainties. The Devils greatest deception is to work 24hrs & 365days of the year to convince you; you are not worth anything. To KEEP chaos wreaking havoc in your life that you are too distracted to see what gifts you already have.

If there are Vampires, inlaws, toxic family/people, cousins, co-workers...change it! As long as the devil can have you crying behind closed doors or in the dark. He knows you will be too crippled with fear to move. The Battlefield of The Mind....can only be defeated by the understanding of what the Word of God says about your life. Don't hide behind a career or degree to live a life that society thinks you should live or the parental perceptions of what they thought you should be. YOU are you no matter what, and that's enough. The challenge you face now will teach you how to maneuver through challenges to come.

Being Connected To Your Sound Code In Life

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for giving me the strength to walk away from Vampires who were.sucking me dry, and for disrupting the soil in my life to change. I am my Own RESCUE....as Lisa Nichols beautifully said, and until you learn to be alone with yourself and invest in your life by having people in it that are 10steps ahead of you and that are truly vested in you to see you grow. The life you live with be full of impostors sucking you dry from ever seeing your fullest potential.

I will say this again and make no APOLOGIES, Leaving Philadelphia was the best thing I could've done in order to grow. Philadelphia has given me so much love and nurturing to become wise enough to Not Be Afraid..and LEAN IN....to my life. I have nothing to hide, nor do I  claim to know everything. Singles there are times for you to stand with God and NOT give a ......about what anyone else thinks. Even if it means losing those close to you. God and only God holds your future. I don't care who you are and who you were. The PAST does not define you, and if people around you still try to base who you are by who you were in the past. Cast it out in JESUS CHRIST Name, if what they say does not line up with who the Bible says you are...then cancel it. Don't allow their bullying tactics to intimidate you to think they matter.

The Mature nature of a person shows in how they love all the people who are around them, not the ones that made the cut by just fitting in. Take the road less traveled, loose a few impostors in your life. It doesn't matter, God will replace them with true authentic bonds. Never settle for anyone's opinion of you, their opinion is none of your business as Lisa Nichols shared in Abundant Living. Don't be afraid of people, family or friends that do not see God's best for you.

Because God Showed Me Different

Truly thank you Holy Spirit for my daughters. They are blessed, and successful in everything they do. I'm proud of their challenges and how I taught them how to overcome them, by not hovering over them. And giving them the power and Blessings of the Holy Spirit to be their true comforter in times of need.  I'm on top of the World today! I'm truly flourishing on every side. I didn't allow circumstances and challenges to suffocate me Into fear or cripple me by staying in my comfort zone. Delialah, Dorales, and Monique continue to press on, and Don't be afraid to take the road less traveled. Yes, you will loose some friends, or imposters. But the beauty is the understanding and blessings from God that will catapult you into your purpose for life. Love Always, This beautiful brown girl...

Insight Into the mystery of God. Understanding!

Life is not meant to be in emergency crisis mode everyday, run after peace and serenity, understanding of God purpose for your life and don't forget to smile. Life is to short for egos, anger and hate for another. Love beyond compassion. God's calling on my life here in Hawaii has been a blessing and unapologetically accept wherever he calls me to go PERIOD! Some people live there lives chasing money, or dreams. I've always lived mines by chasing after God's heart. Truthfully filling guilty/lost if I was separated from him.

 Singles, there is no better feeling of completion than getting lost in love with your first love Christ to truly find yourself. "I rather stand with God and be judged by the world, then stand with the world and be judged by God."  Source: God's Not Dead 2

Remember the best part of your life journey is not about you, it's to live a life of servitude to the lost, loving our families, the poor and our elders.

Wisdom

The Most important gift we can give our children is Christ, and the importance of being Born Again so they can inherit their Godly inheritance to the kingdom. Looks, clothes and putting on a front for how angry or strong you are is just a mask to cover the fear, loss of love or the urgency of feeling needed by someone. When you switch systems and Let Go & Truly let God, your perception of life and people change. Maturity is not for all, we see this in our daily lives with adults acting like spoiled kids, taking their insecurities out on others by bullying and intimidating others by either racial divide, social status, gossiping and the lack of integrity, but for those who do mature in the things of God,  are the ones who are the.visionaries that God has called for such a time as this to open their eyes. The things of this world is temporary.
