Exhale!

Father God, I give honor and thanks to you today for all that you have done in my life, and the lives of my three daughters and grandchildren. I truly am in awe at the way you have protected me against my foes and enemies. All that was lost and taken from me, have been restored. Those that passed me by, or chose to judge me, based on the part of my life they were in. I've seen you close doors and erase them out of my life.

I am thankful for the alone season in my life. Day by day, I am becoming a better authentic version of myself. I'm finding that with time and the blessing of the gifts and talents that you have blessed me with. I continue to grow in my professional career. To that end, as I sit here and write this post. I pray that this inspires others to reach their fullest potentional.

Thank you, Holy Spirit during this alone season for showing me the character of others towards me. The compassion and kindness that I have shown to other was not returned and for that I'm thankful, because it showed me more humility. I started this journey with my Anthology of Poetry, Titled "Starting Over". What does that look like for me now? how do I began to regain all that was taken or set aside after the trauma I faced in my life? Well! Friends, you have to stay tuned for my next post and segment of how this black woman decided to rewrite the script, following God's lead.
